The blenders responsible for many of the influential launches by Montecristo, Romeo, and H Upmann,’Groupo de Maestros’ may not be a commonly known name but you’ve undoubtedly had a cigar that was a result of their blending genius. Now, they direct their attention towards rejuvenating a mellow cigar, trying to create a blend that will yield all of the tastes a modern cigar enthusiast craves, without transforming it into a full-bodied Nicaragua.
H Upmann Connecticut has been created in the Dominican Republic and contains a beautifully supple Connecticut Ecuadorian wrapper. Only thing smoother than that wrapper is the amazing taste it generates. The palate is struck by lots and lots of sweet cream, with subtle hints of pepper and a roasted nutty core.
